WRJ Sisterhood
WRJ Sisterhood is a community of caring, creative and passionate women who come together to enhance their knowledge and enjoyment of Judaism while developing and deepening friendships. We provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth in a Jewish atmosphere, through social and learning experiences.
Sisterhood offers a wide range of activities each year. Highlights include a Women’s Seder, Guest Authors, Sisterhood Dinner, Purim Project, Guest Speakers, Game night, a monthly Book Discussion Group plus much, much more. Sisterhood also sponsors College Connection, the Judaica Shop and the sale of Yarmulkes.
Sisterhood plays an integral role in the Temple community through volunteerism, leadership, and financial assistance.
Sisterhood’s affiliation with Women of Reform Judaism offers a worldwide identity through its membership. WRJ strengthens the voice of women and empowers them to create caring communities, nurture congregations, cultivate spiritual and personal growth, and advocate for and promote Jewish values.
Sisterhood is striving to include all the women of our Temple congregation. By paying your membership dues ($65) you belong to a caring network of dedicated women and support our projects, programs and Temple Judea. If you would like to join Sisterhood, please send your check to Temple Judea payable to WRJ Sisterhood.
If you have any questions, please contact the Temple office.
I look forward to welcoming you to our community and having you join your sisters at a meeting, program or event.
All the best,
Melissa Antenberg, Lauren Chizner and Kathi Kafka
